Trisecting an Angle

This is my recent attempt at approximating the trisection of an angle. See links below for sketchpad file and excel spreadsheet. The real point to be made here is that this is proven to be impossible. So, why bother trying?

Unwanted Weed or Saught After Fractal

The mimosa is a very common to Virginia. I've seen this plant my whole life, but today it's as though I've seen it for the first time.

I vote "fractal"!

Snail Shell

My son Sam found this amazing example of one of nature's spirals. Because of it's circular design, it is best described as an Archimedian spiral.
